用招聘網(wǎng)站的模板可以比較輕松,不過切忌檢查錯別字,因為模板上的是沒有拼寫檢查的

英文簡歷格式和頁面

- 寫完后一定要去頁面設(shè)置去除多余的空白頁面,或者是orphan和widow現(xiàn)象,也就是單句的句子在頁面的最上面,最好是合并到前一頁

- 記得調(diào)整字體和大小,有些人的簡歷除了不同顏色以外還用不同字體,就像是在不同網(wǎng)站上粘貼過來的,非常不專業(yè)。

- 簡歷最好不要超過3頁,言語要精簡,最忌諱像論文一樣,但是沒有重點

- Word本身帶有拼寫檢查,你這里滿頁都是紅線,我這里看到的也都是紅線

下面這十個毛病可是 簡歷 中不該犯的。對照檢查一下你犯錯了沒有?如果有,要趕快改吧!

1、拷貝別人的 簡歷 格式;

2、個人信息(沒人在乎你單身、結(jié)婚、拉提琴還是踢足球);

3、只有事實,沒有表現(xiàn)(Responsibilities/Accomplishment/Yourownrole);

4、不寫日期(只列公司,不列日期);

5、怨恨字眼(Leavereason:sexualharassment/firedmefornogoodreason);

6、工作經(jīng)歷太亂(換行業(yè)太頻繁);

7、非職業(yè)化,不整潔(使用鮮艷的彩色紙/茶杯印);

8、太多不相關(guān)經(jīng)歷(只有你的家人才會關(guān)心你大學(xué)以前的事情);

9、只有 簡歷 ,沒有COVERLETTER。

10、沒有適當?shù)哪繕?著急找工作并不表示應(yīng)該廣種薄收);

二、英文簡歷的格式

英文簡歷的格式結(jié)構(gòu)一般包括頁眉部分、教育背景、工作經(jīng)歷和個人資料四部分。如果已經(jīng)有全職工作了,一定把工作經(jīng)歷放在第二;如果您目前還是在校學(xué)生,應(yīng)該把教育背景放在第二。

1、英文簡歷頁眉部分

1)、求職人名字 對于求職人名字有很多種寫法,不過采用國際通用的寫法比較妥當,即“名在前姓在后”。譬如求職人的名字為杜軍軍,用“Junjun DU”就比用“Du Junjun”要好,這樣也很方便招聘人員,尤其是人事部經(jīng)理為中國人。另外,在平時中發(fā)現(xiàn)有少部分人國人采用外國人的姓,如Mary Smith,本人覺得非常不可取的。因為如果你用外國人的姓,別人會認為你是外國人,或者你父親是外國人,或者你嫁給了外國人。

2)、英文簡歷地址 很多人覺得寫地址時在“北京”再寫“中國”顯得多余,他們認為“誰不知道北京是中國的呀!”但一個完整的地址、全球暢通的郵址應(yīng)該是加國名的,但“中國”英文最好別用“PRC”,因為用“China”簡單清楚。另外,郵編的標準寫法應(yīng)該是放在省名與國名之間,即放在“China”之前。

3)、電話 寫法很有講究,中國人名片中的電話經(jīng)常寫得不清楚、不專業(yè),有以下五點提醒大家注意。

A、電話號碼前一定要加地區(qū)號,如(86-10)。因為您是在向外國公司求職,您的簡歷很可能被傳真到倫敦、紐約,大家不知道您的地區(qū)號,也沒有時間去查,如果另一位求職者的電話有地區(qū)號,招聘者很可能先和這個人溝通。

B、8個號碼之間最好加一個“-”,如6505-2266,便于撥號。

C、區(qū)號后的括號和號碼間加空格,如(86-10) 6505-2266。這是英文寫作格式的規(guī)定,很多人忽略了,甚至不知道。

D、寫手機或者向別人通報手機時,也有一定的規(guī)范,要用“3-4-4原則”,如“139-1735-1833”。

E、傳真號千萬不要留辦公室的,免得辦公室的同事都知道你想跳槽,最好留家里的傳真號。

2、教育背景

1)、時間要倒序,最近的學(xué)歷情況要放在最前面。

2)、學(xué)校名要大寫并加粗,這樣便于招聘者迅速識別您的學(xué)歷。

3)、地名右對齊,全部大寫并加粗。

4)、關(guān)于學(xué)歷。如果正在學(xué)習(xí),用Candidate for開頭比較嚴謹;如果已經(jīng)畢業(yè),可以把學(xué)歷名稱放在最前。

5)、社會工作擔任班干部,只寫職務(wù)就可以了,不必寫年月和工作詳情。

6)、獎學(xué)金。 一般用一句話概括。如果有多個,也爭取用一句話概括。但如果是學(xué)生簡歷,則可以多寫一點。

7)、成績。 如果不是前十名,建議不寫。因為如果排在十名之外,感覺您不是一個優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生。一旦寫上,有些人會窮追不舍地猛問,讓你尷尬。

3、工作經(jīng)歷

首先要再次強調(diào)一下,對于正在工作的人,Experience應(yīng)寫在Education的前面,而對于在校生Education則應(yīng)放在Experience之前。寫時間時應(yīng)注意:

1)、目前的工作要最先寫,左側(cè)寫時間,如寫成1997-present。此外更要注意拼寫,不要把“present”寫成“president”,這種拼寫錯誤要避免。

2)、以前的工作,只寫年份,如1993-1995。這樣的寫法主要適于以下三種情況:一是工作時間較早;二是工作時間在兩年以上;三是旨在巧妙地拉長工作時間。例如,如果您曾于1997年12月到1998年1月就職于某家公司,雖然只有短短兩個月,但寫成1997-1998就顯得工作時間較長,同時也沒撒謊。

4、個人資料 可以介紹個人業(yè)余愛好等內(nèi)容。
